May Day, all day!
Local progressive groups have planned a full slate of activities for May 1.
Join Indivisible Mobile for a free screening of Inequality for All, a film in which professor and former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich explains the growing (and growing and growing) wealth disparity in the United States, and why it is so dangerous for democracy. We will have a brief discussion after the film.
Our friends at PSL and DSA are holding a demonstration at Government Plaza at 5:00 p.m. to celebrate the Power of the People over billionaires and the Trump regime. At 6:00, we will march to Cathedral Square where other groups will share information and opportunities, and we’ll enjoy a potluck supper together.
Important —> we will also be collecting donations for FIBI (Families Impacted by ICE).
Let’s shame those who would oppress or divide us, and come together for a meaningful May Day. Together we are stronger!
