Let's get ready for the June 14 NO KINGS! protest.
Please join us on Wednesday, June 11 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Mobile (6345 Old Shell Rd, Mobile, AL 36608). We will share ideas and make signs for the protest to be held on Saturday, June 14 from 12 - 1:30 p.m. at Government Plaza (205 Government Street, Mobile, AL 36602).
Our themes include No Kings; Stop the Big Bad Bill (H.R. 1); Rein in this president; Shame on Republican enablers; No tax cuts for the ALREADY RICH; Undo DOGE; No cuts to Medicaid, Medicare and SNAP; Stop cruel and unlawful detention and deportation; Free CECOT prisoners, etc., etc., etc.
Some materials will be provided but we welcome all contributions of poster board and markers!
Note: Postcards for Democracy will NOT meet on Wednesday, June 18, but will resume on Wednesday, June 25 and subsequent Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at UUFM.
