We are working to build community for the potentially long haul, so join us at our first (but not the last!) Happy Hour on April 17.
Plan for a May Day blackout
The May Day Strong organization is asking anyone who is able to join in an economic blackout on Friday, May 1, 2026. Don’t go to work or school, and don’t spend ANY money on that day.
May Day demands are:
Stop the billionaire takeover corrupting our government.
Protect and defend Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs for working people.
Fully fund schools, and healthcare and housing for all.
Stop the attacks on immigrants, Black, indigenous, trans people, and all our communities.
Invest in people not wars.
Indivisible Mobile will host an action on May 1, so please watch this space!
Get ready for the primaries on May 19 and for the midterms on Tuesday, Nov. 3!
Register to vote (and encourage others to do so).
—> Deadline to register for the primaries is May 4.
—> Deadline to register for the midterm election is October 20.
—> Anyone who will be 18 on Nov. 3 can register now to vote in the midterms.
Check out your sample ballot.
Find your current representatives.
Check your registration status frequently and find your polling place the day before the election. (If there is any problem with your status, contact the Elections Division at 1-800-274-8683.)
Make sure you have the correct photo ID to take to the polls.
And sign the petition to Pass a No-ICE-at-the-Polls Law NOW.
