It's a shame the protest is not on a Saturday. More people would be able to attend.
This date was chosen by the national organizations that are promoting it to honor Rep. John Lewis, who died on July 17, 2020. We did choose evening hours in hopes of people being able to join us after work!
There will be many more opportunities to participate. It's going to be a marathon.
